Here's my YouTube account.

I have two versions of the machinima you asked for. See if you can spot the difference between them!
See ya next year (maybe...),

NEW Blog 09

This week, I realised that since I didn't plan out my machinima properly, I may have substantial difficulty.

NEW Blog 08

Progress is slow. I've only filmed the sequences where Jacques is watching. Other than that and the channel surfing thing - which I'm yet to compile - I haven't much of an idea of what I'm doing. I lack creativity, that's my problem. I can't seem to think up of anything original.
Second Life is meant to be dialogue driven, but I prefer physical comedy. I need to figure out how to make it work in both favours.

NEW Blog 07

Another term (if that's the proper term), another day of working with Second Life.
X 0.800
Y 0.300
Z 0.500
Those are the dimensions I keyed down for my old TV; I have made a cardboard box to put the TV in, and to use for another purpose later...
Dale tells me my idea wouldn't work well on Second Life, as it's almost entirely based on physical comedy. So what I need to do, is either search for a new idea, or figure out how I can make my existing concept more dialogue driven.
Le'see, what films or sketches do I know which involves getting a new TV?
- Strawberry Gets A New TV: It's a good idea, but it has multiple characters and settings; not what I'm looking for...
I've gotten a great idea! A film where I browse through multiple channels, as an expression of how bad television is nowadays.

NEW Blog 06

This is the title card I have affixed on the side of my new apartment, on the third floor of the fourth building on the Eastside of VU Island.
Here's a basic idea of my refined story, filmed in here:

• Jacques purchases a new TV.
• Enters his apartment and turns on the lights.
• Opens the antenna box and puts it on the table.
• Opens the TV box and puts on the table also.
• Fails to recognise that the TV is facing away from him, then corrects it.
• Gets out the instructions and reads them.
• Gets out the electrical plug, not wired to the TV, then plugs it in.
• Tries to turn on the TV, to no avail then hits the TV.
• He has difficulty setting it up because it goes to static every time he faces it.
• Reads the instructions, then realises he must put the power cord into the plug.
• Screws in the wire, plugs it back in, then turns the TV on.
• Grabs a seat then starts watching static.
• Reads in the instructions again, then realises he must plug the antenna in the TV.
• Waves the antenna around the room.
• Steps out of the room with the antenna, still waving it around.
• Returns, then puts down the antenna in frustration.
• Ducks down, then the TV transmission starts working.
• Gets back up, then the transmission breaks.
• Ducks again and the transmission returns.
• Grabs his seat, the transmission breaks, takes it to the side, the transmission returns.
• Moves his head towards the TV and the transmission breaks again.
• Moves back, transmission returns, jumps towards TV, transmission breaks.
• Returns to seat, gets an idea, rotates the TV in his direction, no transmission.
• Rotates back, then slowly crawls toward the TV.
• Turns his head, transmission breaks.
• Frustrated, he removes his jacket, then tie.
• Takes off his shirt then puts it on the seat, affixing his tie and jacket in a similar fashion.
• Takes off his shoes and socks, still no transmission.
• Frustrated, he contemplates removing his pants, but stops and closes the blinds and door.
• Proceeds to take his pants off, then waves them at the TV.
• Affixes the pants and shoes on the seat, zipping up the fly.
• Contemplates removing his underwear, but stops and makes sure the blinds are closed.
• Grabs the TV box, opens it up, then hops in.
• Removes his underwear, pops it into the pants, then transmission returns.
• Grabs another seat and starts to watch TV…
• …and then the power goes out!
My only problem with this is figuring out how to apply all this Second Life!

NEW Blog 05

I having a bit of trouble regarding my story and what I should do with it. I'm not really a social person, so I can't really have a house party. I was thinking something like a British short I remember. I hate writer's block.

NEW Blog 04

Creating stories isn't one of my stronger suits, but I'm giving it a shot.
So far, I've come up with an idea of acquiring a new apartment, based off this set.

I'm thinking of having a house party here. Some-one did suggest something like what happened in Narre Warren earlier this year. I could, but I don't to make Jacques that big a douchebag!
